  Personally speaking we went there for five years and hated it.We only went for our children who attended the youth group which at that time was good but we found the preaching to be opinionated ,hypocritical and very judgemental and found the people for the most part to be like-minded. We found it almost cult-like. It was a breathe of fresh air when we finally left to go where we felt most comfortable to (gasp)the Catholic Church where the people are not saved. Well count us unsaved and HAPPY

  Wow, my wife and I have been so blessed to attend Calvary Church when we are in Longmont. We have been there three times and each time the Lord has spoken to us through the Worship and the Word. The Worship is both engaging and God-honoring. It is contemperary yet reverent. Pastor Tom is a tremendous communicator of the Word of God. He teaches in such a way that is personal, truthful, and applicable to daily living. I would recommend (and have) this church to anyone who is moving into the area and looking for a church that seeks to fulfill the great commission ("going, make disciples of all the nations") and honor the Lord!

  How does one rate a Church? It is not about the building but the people. Here they are humble people who are actually seeking to be broken servants of Christ. If there is one core descriptor here it is freedom. You will find both ends of the political spectrum, ex-pastors, homeless, and a large minority representation. We are all children of God and equally sinful regardless of how good or bad we think we are - and at the same time equally valuable to God who desires our presence with Him eternally. This is definitely the place to get to that point in your life.
